INTERVIEWS

In July 2006, at the University of York in England, Professor Andrew Tudor undertook an in depth interview with Richard Woolley to discuss his film work. Professor Tudor was Richard's successor as Head of the new Department of Theatre, Film & Television at the University of York and is an established and respected writer on film history and theory. The interview is divided into sections that, for the most part, relate chronologically to the different periods in Woolley's filmmaking career.

These interviews are also available in full as extras on the BFI's DVD set of Woolley's films.
